I mention that it’s been a pretty geeky summer so far, and Fan Expo is still to come.

“Everything is proceeding as I have foreseen it.”
Ian McDiarmid has had a tremendous career on stage and screen. His film work might work around his stage career, but he’s always a pleasure to see in something. Probably the best acting in the Star Wars prequel trilogy.

The Q&A itself.

Fan Expo is looking a little rough this year. I briefly talk about the so far disappointing schedule and blatant money grab. My hopes for things appear to be a little tarnished at this point, but I’m still looking forward to going because I love taking my family to conventions.
Because of the lack of his own Q&A and the fact that he’s only on stage for a premium event I haven’t decided I want to pay extra for, Patrick Stewart may not be on my must see list this con, which is probably my biggest source of disappointment at the moment.
Scheduling conflicts are going to limit a couple of other things, too. I’ve got some hard choices to make.
