I seem to be hitting the basics out of the gate, but I’m very grateful for having shelter, for having four walls and a roof to keep out the wind and the rain and the cold and the snow and the bugs and the parasites and all the things I don’t want to sleep with me.
If you have shelter you have to be grateful for it, even if you don’t think about it.
Shelter should be human right, but it’s really a privilege, and most of us know it, even without saying so out loud. You can make choices that will eventually strip it from you, and sometimes, no choices you could have made would save you from being forced from it.
Shelter is a big deal, it’s critically important, and something I will always grateful for.
