The Next Novel

As in the next one I’m going to publish. Prep work is done. Files are uploaded in most of the places (one left and that’s for today), Draugr Rising will release on 21 June 2022. On the Solstice for an obscure reason that ties into the book, sort of.
I think this might be the first novel I’m releasing that’s in the first person, told from the perspective of Jerry, a man approaching forty who’s been widowed and lost both his parents in the past year so is left to raise his teenage daughter on his own. He discovers that he’s also the mortal descendent of a Norse god and needs to step up to defend Midgard from a necromancer about to break free from a prison he’s been held in for thousands of years.
I’m not doing a formal book launch but look for a couple of things to support it in the week or so ahead of the release date. The book will be available in the usual spots, all on 21 June 2022:
In my Ko-fi Shop (my preferred since Ko-Fi takes the smallest cut)
Kobo.com (the one I still have to upload)
Like the rest of my releases, it will be in all the Amazon marketplaces, as both an ebook and a paperback. I’m toying with the idea of a hardcover, too, just to see what it would look like. Ebook page is already live on Amazon and set to go on Ko-Fi. I still need to do a tiny bit of work for the Kobo version.
The next novel I’m going to write may or may not be already in progress. At the very least, it’s been plotted.
Stay tuned.
And be well, everyone.
