This is not an exhaustive list. The drafting totals will probably go up fiarly slowly during 2025, though I have hopes of completing the first draft of both novel projects listed below. There will be short stories and other things during the year, too, but I’m only going to list the big projects here.
I also have a lot of things drafted that need at least one editing pass before I consider them “complete”. A lot as in 25 short stories, 7 novelettes, 6 novellas, and 5 novels, granting that 4 of those novels are in the same series as the one I’m currently editing. Also, several of the novellas are very old and I don’t know if they’re salvageable or not. We’ll see when I get there. The overall count of stories to be edited is a lot lower than it was a year or two ago, but there’s still some distance to go. I want to focus a lot of energy on editing this year, but that doesn’t necessarily mean that first drafts will be terribly limited – I have plans for a variety of things.
