Lance the Viewer

I talk now and then about what I’m watching and how I can’t binge like most people seem to be able to. Rather than posting about it every few months, I thought a dedicated page might be nice, updated whenever I remember to do so.

The Current TV Rotation

The Rotation generally has 10 shows in it. I like variety in my viewing and usually cycle through, often in alphabetical order which, yes, I know is a weird way to organize your viewing. This is where I am right now, the next ten episodes up. Note that there are actually four new shows in the list for this update version. Sometimes things come together in a short period so that I finish seasons of different things close together. Occasionally, I’ll do the last two episodes of a series one right after the other for the completion feeling and to see where the characters wind up. I did that with Time Bandits (which ended on a cliffhanger and then was cancelled by the network non-creatives at Apple TV), The Avengers (Mrs. Peel’s departure was technically in the first episode of a new series), and Alien Nation (watching the last two TV movies fairly close in time) in the last few weeks.

The Last Five Movies I Watched

I don’t do a lot of rewatches, but there are a few. I also don’t do a lot of current stuff because I’m nearly always disappointed in the writing. There hasn’t been something yet this year that demanded I watch it in theatre. I need more than just eye candy to part with the price of a ticket.

I’ll try to update this piece whenever it’s five new ones. Most recent watch is at number one and working backward in time from there.
